Bye, we wont miss you.
I used this time to do the same.I also cancelled my two subscriptions to FFXI. Honestly, I feel a lot better about my life.lol Thank you for the easy decision SE.
And the rest of us rejoice for another that would only cause problems with their fellow players are gone.
Honestly, if you get this upset over what happens during the first week or even first month in an MMO, the game is better off without you.
After playing since 1.0, through alpha, through the beta's, and paying to participate in an early release- I find it pathetic when people join for early access only to defend the still broken game that is FFXIV.
Goodbye. You won't be missed, and your log-in spot will be gladly eaten up by someone else. The game is not broken. The system that connects the servers is broken. There is the difference.
Lets see, I bought and played 1.0, played 3 phases of ARR beta, oh and was a LONG TIME FFXI player, so not sure what you were talking about here...I've been dedicated to FF MMO's since day one of XI, Day one of XIV, and now day 1 of XIV:ARR. This game is amazing IMO, except for the server issues.
you guys keep saying goodbye good riddance to these people but what happens because they leave as well as others do? sure your game runs smoothly for the short time SE keeps the game up and then cancels it because it costs more to run than what it brings in.. sorta like v1.0 so maybe don't be so quick to kick um in the ass on the way out. You may think that will not happen but did they have the same thought back then?
While I get what you're saying, people like this won't stick around past the first 30 days anyway, so they are all but useless to SE. The ones that you're talking about, and are important, are the ones who may complain, but they stick out their free trial and then maybe picks up the game again in 6 months when things settle down.you guys keep saying goodbye good riddance to these people but what happens because they leave as well as others do? sure your game runs smoothly for the short time SE keeps the game up and then cancels it because it costs more to run than what it brings in.. sorta like v1.0 so maybe don't be so quick to kick um in the ass on the way out. I would rather have a small community of players who are patient and understanding, which may say a bit about their IRL character, than a larger community full of brats. See World of Warcraft General Forums. So if enough players who are tossing a tantrum go shoo away to another FOTM MMORPG, that'd be greaaaaaat. While I get what you're saying, people like this won't stick around past the first 30 days anyway, so they are all but useless to SE.
