Low FPS, please help with recommended settings...

Hello,

I am experience some low FPS issues. I did not have this problem in closed or open beta. I am going to post my specs and maybe someone can help me set up proper video settings to avoid this issue.

Windows 8 64-bit
i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.0ghz
NVIDIA GEFORCE 560M 3GB
16GB Ram

You already updated video drivers? Check per application settings in NVidia drivers panel - there all must be in default state, no AA or AF on.
If not helps - check temperature under load - m/b processor goes throttling by overheating?
Than - check your software - mb some program like use more that it needs. Like modern antiviruses or viruses.

Drivers are often updated, especially when some high profile games are released.
For example the latest AMD beta driver has Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn optimizations, try looking for NVIDIA Beta drivers.

Update your drivers.

I bought a brand new computer for FFXIV and was getting crap FPS at first. I updated my driver from NVIDEA and am now smooth sailing at 60 fps.

Drivers are updated, I changed my resolution to a little bit lower and now it is fine lol, not sure what was going on this morning.

Have you tried using the laptop preset settings? your graphics card is not really that great. I have a I7 3720QM with AMD7970M @2GB and 16GB ram. I run at maximum with ambient occlusion down a level to weak and shadows down a level to 1024 res. I get a steady 60fps.
