gathering xp is too low, even battle jobs xp faster

@ 39 miner needing 304900 xp hitting black alumen lv 40 item for an avg of 350 xp I need 868 successes to finish the level. Not including HQ finds.

It would also be nice if gathering worked like crafting where you can try to gather items up to 5 levels higher than your current level

Try doing some leves you can get like 10~15k exp just from doing leves at that level.

Compared to the crafting leves, DoL ones are comparatively horrendous.

Okay, my mining is at 36 and my Armorsmith at 40. I can mine 3 HQ Mythril ore for 2100-ish exp.
I can turn that into one HQ Mythril Ingot. There's a 35 leve that requires one mythril ingot. Hand in the HQ - 64,900 + 5kecp for making the ingot yourself. Doing this takes less time than any mining leve I've tried so far. There's also a lvl 25 steel ingot one as well.

That's a big discrepancy. I have suggestions; gathering fates.

Picture this; mining a rampaging adamantoise. You jump on top of it as it thrashes about and you mine what you can from its shell in a five minute timer. When it thrashes every 30sec or so, you hit a special node called "Dig In" to avoid being thrown off, otherwise you gotta go back up a ledge and jump down to it again.

Make them fun! Adventurers want fun!

Waste of a leve since I can use it on a crafter job and turn in HQ mats for 3x xp
