Seriously 9 coke at a cost of 125 philosophy tombstones is 1125 tombstones to make a single ingot? This gear is no where near worth the cost unless someone finds an alternative form of supply. I haven't found a place to mine/harvest coke yet. Granted I haven't been every where, I'm just hoping this is a mistake and will be fixed. Hopefully a DEV will see this and shed some light on if it was a mistake or not.

In 1.0 you could purchase coke for 50k gil from a hamlet. Can you no longer do that?

Hamlet doesn't exist in 2.0 the only way found so far is to purchase it from the npc to the right of rowena for a 125 philosopher tombstones but I'm out of those.

According to XIVDB, there is no other way to obtain this stuff.

This is because the gear it makes is on par with darklight or even better. They reach the stat caps in your main stat and vit if you manage to HQ a piece. So 1125 cost for a piece that has the potential to be better than darklight (because of materia customization) is the right price.

Luckily I saved 3 stacks of coke from 1.0 as well as tens of each of the other mats. But I can understand your frustration.

I would have to disagree on stat caps because AF2 and allagan gear make darklight look like AF1. That being said I'll just save my currency and not waste it on coke seeing way better items will be accessible in the near future.
