    Scholar pet bug

Controlling abilities manually for your pet will cause the stance to go from steady to guard.
Which means the pet will be blowing all it's cooldowns right away.

    - It pops Fey covenant the moment the tank pulls

    - It pops it's hot right in the pull.

If this isn't a bug it still needs a fix.
When I tell the pet to not do anything it should stay that way , even when I use one of it's cooldowns.

Hopefully this gets fixed soon! I'm concerned I may have to level WHM first if healing with SCH pets is too difficult with the current pet AI issues.

    Right some tests done:

    Basic pet behaviour:

    - When you put it on steady and obey and control it manually the pet will swap back to guard and will do what ever it wants, including blowing all cooldowns when ever they are up and you are in combat

    - When you summon a pet put it on guard mode +sic, than swap it back to guard/obey and it should not blow the longer cooldowns.
Note: Eos will still blow the hot when ever she can.

    - Eos will always use her hot first when a person drops on like 80%, regardless where she is.

The biggest issue with not being able to manually heal is that the pet is often late.
I had a mob hitting me as test and the pet started to heal the moment I was on 60%, unless EOS has her hot then she uses it.
If I would manually control it the pet would be healing at 90%.

When I put the pet on steady it should mean that it doesn't do anything unless I tell it to do so period.

Work around: Put your pet on obey every time the hot is about to get up, move the pet into position apply hot and put it back on guard.
It still sucks but at least you can apply your hot, that or stand close to the tank.

This isnt specific to scholar pets. Even on arcanist you can set carbuncle to steady, as soon as you order it to attack (either by sic or obey) it switches back to guard. Not as frustrating as scholar's fairies I'd imagine, but it's still pretty agonizing to have to keep switching back and forth between hotbars to set it back to steady after every kill.

The fairy control is totally bugged. Support fairy is not bad at all but the HEALER fairy is totally broken. We cant have a fairy that cast automatically our best regen or the defense buff (using obey too...). Please fix this asap, thank you

Yeah the support fairy isn't all that terrible since it just casts heal.
I still do a better job when I use it manually though, at least I want the option to be available.

A quick fix would simply be:

    Aggressive: uses everything
Defensive: Only uses first ability off cooldown
passive: Doesn't do anything unless you manual control

If you want to go a bit further give people the option to enable/disable abilities the pet AI can use.
