Feature Request / Suggestion: Grey out equipped items in Armory Chest

Hi.

While the Armory Chest is a nice feature, because it relieved carrying around many weapons and armor pieces needed for many classes, there's one annoying issue:

When I sort all the stuff I have manually (e.g. Disciple of War Body pieces in first row, Magic pieces in second row, Crafting and gathering pieces in third row, all sorted by level, from left to right) and then use the Gear Set feature to cycle through my classes, it all gets messed up again.

This happens, because the currently equipped piece of armor for one slot is replaced with the item used in the Gear Set I'm switching to.

My suggestion to alleviate this problem would be leaving a greyed out placeholder of a currently equipped item in the corresponding Armory Chest page. Switching a class would then result in the currently equipped item being placed back at the spot of the placeholder, and another item from another spot being greyed out, not changing the individual item positions at all.

This is the biggest problem I have with updating gear sets. The Armory Chest is always in a state of chaos. I'm all for this idea, I can spare a slot to maintain some level of order. This also prevents you from running into a situation where you want to unequip gear but have no space to do so.

I second this, along with possibly an option to categorize and sort items automatically for both the Armory Chest, Inventory, and your retainers' inventories.

I thought I'd be awesome and put my armor chest in level order to help out. I found out shortly that was a waste of time. Ooops.

I like your suggestion. My armory chest its a chaos with my equipment of DoM and DoH. I always tried to sort it but I just gave up after a few times.

While it might be nice to be able to organize the armory as you would like, that is not it's function.

It is designed to allow you to have different equipment sets and easily change between them.

I am certain that saving players armory order would require too much data transfer or storage space.

You'll get used to it and once your gear sets are set, you won't need to review it very often.

The armory order is already saved. It only gets chaotic when changing jobs and stuff is (seemingly) randomly switched around.
