Yea that boss was pretty hectic. I dont think its that hard though, just all about positioning. got it 3rd attempt, iv had more attempts on the last boss in aurum vale and the slime in wanderers because our AOE DPS was shit.

nothing in this game is hard. see what boss does, use right limit break, stun what can be stunned. Profit. Give me loot.
nothing is hard when everything has a fixed pattern learn the pattern your gold. yeah people make mistakes time to time.
if there was something that varied then yeah it would be harder but nothing does change so its not hard, just a memory game.
and all the dungeon become cake-walk when you need to fight actual difficult boss in relic reborn quest. the three primal that is reborn is nothing of 1.0 sort. They might look the same but somehow a lot of people who already obtain relic in 1.0 still have trouble fighting them.
Not to mention the real end-game coil of bahamut. Let's see how many people can beat it before 2.1

Meh, anyone complaining about easy content has never played XI. There are already endgame fights that are testing experienced 1.0 players. I watched an extremely geared group of 1.0 players wipe 8 times to hardmode Titan tonight.
Logging in is the hardest thing I've had to do in this game... :S That is really tough! :s
Just did DH and i have to disagree with OP it was ridiculously easy, might of been cause it was a group of 1.0 players but none of us had seen the new DH, and I was kinda disappointed. It was FUN, but it was easy, OGRE just tank spank and DD's dodge fireballs and batraal omg they need to buff him badly or give him adds.
I had a lot of fun running that dungeon.
Batraal is very unforgiving which requires everyone in the group to actually focus on the fight.
actually, the mechanics is a DPS check, ignore the adds and DPS down the main boss. EasyYou have to understand that for veteran mmorpg gamers, we tend to pick up quick on boss mechanics. Most if not all bosses comes down to the following things
- Proper positioning
- A good tank
- Doing the right thing at the right time or following orders
Take copperbell mines boss.
If you tank the giant near(but not right next to it!) the 2nd cracked wall. You allow for the DD classes to deal damage the entire time and only to switch targets when the smaller giant is near the 2nd cracked wall. Positioning the boss near the wall, makes the trip between the giant trying to break the wall and the boss very short. Also the trick is to kill the smaller giants asap and to move back asap to the main boss.
A good tank will also position the boss so that his conal swing is always aimed away from the rest of the party.
