PLEASE auto LOG OUT those parking characters and going AFK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those of us who are actually TRYING to play cannot because people didn't follow instructions to log out.

Or they are logging in and parking their characters in sanctuaries, afraid that they won't get back in if they log out.

The result? WORLD FULL!

Devs, do your jobs and clear the darn servers. Stop faffing about and just starting booting the inactives.

You are getting HORRIBLE press and many people are now canceling and I really want this game to be a success. But even now I am getting a bit frustrated.

What a serious mess up...it cannot be that complicated.

edit - thanks so much, mDawg for that insight. I have quite a good window as far as IT admin goes to form an opinion. Of course there isn't one simple solution, but it is also not as complicated as they have seemed to have mad either. Thank you.

Actually it can be that complicated, and it is. There's more to all of this than just one simple solution.

Go work in IT as an administrator for a few years, then your opinion will change.

And help desk tier 1 support doesn't count.

Um, well I do work in IT, as an admin and developer, and have done for more than 2 decades, and although auto-logout of parked/AFK users after a period of time isn't the complete solution, it would sure as hell help greatly.

P.S. those that start in tier 1 support and work their way up will become your boss one day, don't dis them.

You can shout what you want but humans are an ego centric race and will NEVER do that because they know their is a chance they wont get back in.

Cant blame them neither, its not their fault that lot of us cant play, SE have to fix it not USE US to fix it!
What we gonna do the next days? Make appointments on the forums when and who can log in...... ..... ......?

Well, you can first point the finger at SE for letting new players, new characters and non-legacy characters into servers maxing the capacity of players allowed to play at the same time.

It's not just FULL, it's over populated.
