Question about having a party and playing with friends

From what I've gotten to play from the early access I see this game works where you gain most of your experience points from quests. My thing is I enjoy playing with others and just having a team to play and support and fight along side with.

So far even when I party up with a friend its impossible to really play with that person as we're doing seperate quests and he's hard to find in a crowd.

Long story short will there be any quest where you and your party have the same goal to complete the dungeon or a quest where you battle a bunch of monsters to get to the boss?

Apologies if my question is hard to understand I wasn't sure how to go about asking.
If anyone has played Phantasy Star Online games I'm talking about those kind of questing with a party.

    Thanks in advance!

Most all side quests dungeons guild levls etc.. can be done together, just start in the same starting area if you wana go that route me and a bud are doing that, only real thing solo is the main story line.... its easy to group plus you can teleport to your friend if you get lost ...

The 'Big Rewards' come from Levequests, Guildhests, Dungeons, Raids, and FATEs. If you're trying to 'power level' a low level character, have a group of 7 friends take him into a high level area, in a party of 8 people. For each thing they kill, you still get XP for being in the party. (note, this only works on Battle Classes).

I think all story/zone quests after level 15 are the same (except for class specific quests). Also, once you're leveling up a second (or beyond) job, you don't quest you grind mobs/fates/dungeons, which can all be done with friends.

that all sounds cool. I'll have to give the game more time of course. I don't understand most things in the game but within time I'm sure I'll learn :-)

I just enjoy questing with friends and actually having them with me and not us in a party but doing separate quest

Honestly, in my experience with countless MMO's, the first 10-15 levels are all about learning the basics and is better spent solo, so you're not missing much at that point. But what really matters is having fun!

Nothing is as overpowered as a Party of 4 Arcanists who have learned Aero and Protect.

    4 DD/Healers + 3 DD Pets + 1 Tank Pet = Full Party of Doom out of 4 members....
