    Kiith-Sa Hunter - Free Company

    Kiith-Sa Hunter

The Kiith-Sa Hunter Free Company is now looking to fill it's rapidly growing ranks with quality players. Currently we are looking for both PC and PS3 players who are looking to be apart of a strong community of like minded individuals. Our primary focus will be PvE progression as well as PvP groups when the content arrives.

We are also looking to make our mark on Coeurl by running community events and we encourage you to join to help us make them happen.

Kiith-Sa Hunter was formed just over 15 years ago on StarCraft, inevitably moving on to titles like MechWarrior 3, Unreal Tournament, Wulfram 2, Graal Online, World of Warcraft, AION, Battlefield 3, and now, here, on FFXIV.

If you are interested in joining contact Azexton Hunter, Brolleun Hunter, Eizan Hyral, or Grayson Carlyle, Bobalock Orbis in-game or visit our website.

    Introduction:

You’ve messed with the rest, so why not join the best? The Kiith-Sa is a quite unlike anything that has come before, and is more than just a guild, and should be seen as a community of gamers and friends alike. The members of the Kiith-Sa come from all walks of life, and because of that the guild is well organized and professional, and also has a responsible and well thought-out chain of command: A distinction that separates the Kiith-Sa from others, and shows we’re more than just a bunch of rat-tag mouth breathers.

The Kiith-Sa has been around for about 15 years and counting. The strong policies and commitment to finding high quality people has led to a diverse group of great and talented players—who are capable of having a good time and kicking bizz-ut wherever they go.The Kiith-Sa Hunter guild is the very definition of an rp-pve-pvp community. We have a very well-developed story, and enforce certain physical protocol as each game permits. We are who we are for a reason, and tend toward intellectual members that can uphold who the Kiith-Sa are and what they represent. Per our history, we are merchants and fighters. The Kiith-Sa Hunter goes into combat with great skill and coordination. We strive for true challenges, fair fights, and back each other up when needed to even the odds. Our competitive nature has pitted us against other guilds and clans in the past, and often our strong structure and quick response to each other leads us to victory.

Our guild is more about our players than who pulls what numbers, or gets which item. The Kiith-Sa is all about playing games because they are fun, and we have fun in them together. Skills get you so far in the game, but camaraderie makes the Kiith-Sa want to play and communicate with each other in other games and beyond. The Kiith-Sa Hunter network stretches across a variety of games of several genres: such as FPS, MMORPGs, PS3 network, and XBOX live communities.

    Expectations:

Eye for an Eye: Individuals may find the Kiith-Sa harsh at times, but we will not go out of our way to harm another who has not warranted some form of reprisal. If someone mistreats a Hunter expect the same in kind, yet if someone is kind to a Hunter that individual should expect the act reciprocated. An eye for any eyes speaks for itself plainly, and the Kiith-Sa holds to this policy quite firmly. Point: Do as little to no harm as possible, or face the consequences of your action.

Community: No two humans are alike, and as such everyone should understand problems will arise, but that does not mean the Kiith-Sa are not above working out our differences for the betterment of everyone, and not just someone. The guild exists to support one another in the hopes of camaraderie being born and a culture flourishing; but individuals who are self-righteous, fallacious, puerile, or fascist may find we aren’t the ideal guild for them. The Kiith-Sa is here for fun—whatever form it may take. Point: Interaction is an integral part of the Kiith-Sa community, so talk with one another.

Honesty: All members should be honest, as it is the best policy, and if you make a mistake admit it. The guild as a whole will respect individuals more for making a mistake and admitting to it, rather than denying that mistake to maintain some unwritten or unspoken reputation. Point: Tell the truth and nothing but the truth.

Enjoyment: The Kiith-Sa exist for this very reason, but we don’t have fun just for the sake of it, and should a fellow Kiith ask a member to stop an action—which is actually expected from members---they should cease that action immediately if that person is actually causing some form of harm. Point: Everyone is expected to act like a mature adult in their dealings with guild members, allies, and affiliates; but don’t skew situations to meet personal ethics and beliefs, or blow things out of apportion.

    Goals:

    1) PVE: to help member’s complete quests, run dungeons, do raids, and mess with companies—care bear stare!
    2) Crafting and Gathering: members will be expected to provide for the guild in some way, shape, or form outside of being just a body to run dungeons or content with—war, what is it good for?
    3) Relic and Artifact hunting: to help members acquire their relic and artifacts—always for the fiz-at loots.
    4) Discussions: to discuss, theory-craft, and have intellectual debates on classes and game mechanics, as to better ourselves and each other.
    5) RP: always keep it casual and light—like wa-hip cream.

    Code of Ethics:

    1) Members will cause no harm to one another be it physical, mental, financial, or spiritual: no threats, insults, bigotry, hate-mongering, or injury of another will be tolerated; but this isn’t a scape goat to act hypersensitive, so always seek conflict resolution.
    2) Respect will be given to any and all members, allies, or affiliates of the Kiith-Sa Hunter regardless of rank, position, or standing.
    3) Hunters will act with integrity in all dealings, and will not conduct malicious or wanton trading with members, allies, or affiliates.
    4) The instructions of the guild leader and respective officers will be followed immediately, and should an issue arise that needs addressing will be done so after the instructions have been carried out.
    5) Always support, encourage, and help other members of the Kiith-Sa, as none of us are more valuable than all of us.

Alternatively if none of the officers listed above are online you can see if I am, Haredin Hunter is what I will be on. My time zone is almost the complete opposite of theirs so if you are say an Australian, odds are we play at the same time. Seriously don't be afraid, we are nice people.

This gaming community has piqued my interest. I love mmo's and know that the people you play with make the game great. I have a few questions though.

    1. How mature minded is the community? For instance, I love pve raiding and pvp. I don't mind being on scheduled raiding, but how forgiving is the schedule? I work a full time job to support my family and may not be able to make it to every raid. Will I lose my spot or chance to go to future raids?

    2. Are you guys accepting multiple people? I have 3 IRL friends with me on Coeurl that have been playing together since FFXI and vanilla wow. They're all in the same mindset as me with the raiding.

We have tried so many mmo's in the past and think we have left each one because we couldn't find the right people to play with. You guys look promising!!

So long as you make an active effort to be a part of our community we understand that not everyone has an unlimited amount of time at their disposal so missing a raid because you have responsibilities as an adult will not hurt you at all. If you make the effort to us we will return the favor basically.

The more the merrier! I don't think we'd have any reason to turn anyone looking to join our ranks. Unless they were batshit insane drama queens, obviously stuff like that.

I'm pretty confident that the other officers feel the same way, we're here to be a community and you can't have one of those if you leave your dudes out of things.

Of course they'd say it in better clearer terms. I'm just a dude with some extra privileges. :P

Yea when I'm involved I tend to give it my all. Help others when they need it even if I don't receive any direct benefit for it, and stuff like that. I'll definitely talk to the other leaders in the FC but if it's not an elitist atmosphere and everyone is here to have fun, I look forward to joining you guys.

Personally, I joined this FC looking for a great community to get into FFXIV with, I enjoyed the group so much I decided to join the Kiith-sa itself. This FC is 100% about creating a great community for its members and providing a fair PvE and PvP environment. We are focused on content progression and allowing every member to partake in the group.
