    FATE enemies should take less AoE damage after being hit by AoEs in quick succession, with the rate of being hit making the resistance stronger. Several times a second = complete resistance.

    This is shit... I try not to bring up ffxi much but I have to say the 6 years I played that game is because of the open world but NO the casual fruit cakes that think this game was made for them got another thing they wanted. Im not saying im super hardcore but you gotta be kiddin me on this damn all instanced crap. I feel like im playing a game made for a 5th grader tbh. Not having NM's is a bad idea but cry babies that don't like a little competition are a real bad idea, buck up pansies don't slit your wrist if you lose a claim. FATE is not what I was expecting AT ALL. One thing I seen a group do was party up and use the fate for an exp party, not a bad idea but if thats their idea of moving away from exp pt's they didn't do very good lol. Open this world up SE we don't want whats popular in other games. Now if this was a quick way to make money so you can make a better game I say job well done.

    I agree with OP, but not because it would help if something crashes, but merely because more variation is better. As it is now there is no point whatsoever to explore because you will get nothing for it. You can teleport everywhere meaning they could have more or less just made it a hub based game. FATEs are the complete failure a lot of us expected when it comes to skill/tactics needed since atm they are just zergfests, now this doesn't mean I want them to go away I am fine with having them but there needs to be something else out there too because atm the world is a complete waste and it is sad to see because it is so well made (albeit small).

Competitions between players builds into the immersion and gives people even more reasons to do things and it doesn't always cause people to hate each other. Also, please don't try to toss pvp as enough competition. We all know everyone is gonna be wearing the same stuff, with the same stats cause all gear is the same scaled up versions of each other. Game isn't launched yet so still holding out hope even if it is looking grim
