Yes and No. Because you bought a car and it had a problem I would simply take it back up to the dealership and get it looked at. The maturity and how people handle things are different yes, but lets say said dealership knew about the problem after i bought it. They would look for a way to fix it or if the model of said car had a issue in general, there would be a massive recall and re-issue of parts for said issue. Thats what SE is doing, trying to fix it.
