Playing on a Japanese Server!!

I’ll give you the details in short. One I don’t have a top of a line gaming PC. Oddly I can play on a Japanese server on high settings and not lag one bit. Everything plays so smooth! Even on standard settings I lag on Excalibur.

Yes I know our legacy servers are over populated and congested. In all I hope SE and team are looking to make new servers for legacy to even out the players.

As for right now telling a consumer yes our servers will be over populated on early access seems to be very unprofessional. In beta I thought that’s what all this testing was for?

If this game was free to play I would not even bothered to even write such a post. In the end this game is not.

I've moved to a JP server as well. It's ridiculous how smooth everything is going over there. I am TIRED of waiting to log in cause the server is full. We don't get a que time or nothing.

After experiencing such a smooth gameplay I kind of really don't understand the regional servers now lol.

I love my Masamune! Amazing server with lots of friendly people, both Japanese and Oceanic/SEA. There was honestly ZERO reason for them to ever make NA servers. FFXI did fine with only JP servers and the latency to JP from the US is never more than 200ms (unless you have an horrible ISP).

I would love to switch but i really DO NOT wanna re-do everything AGAIN. And can't transfer my Legacy character

At the moment my plan is the following:

Play on the Japanese server (Hi Ramuh I missed you once you vanished in XI and it is good to be back again) and if by September 7th the server issue is not fixed, don't pay until I can get a free transfer to the server I can play on. So I can play my character of choice.
