Should I give up on trying to play today?

I've been trying to log back in for over 3 hours now and I still get the 1017 error.

I don't see a time table on when they are going to allow more people to log-in. Should I just give up trying to log in today?

Spamming for 3 hours just to get a 9k disconnect error after playing 1 hour just doesn't tickle my fancy.

So the error says to wait for an opening and then try again. Is SE going to call my cell to let me know when there is an opening? Should they buy those pager things like at the restaurants that light up and vibrate to let you know when it is your turn? WTF SE, I preordered solely for the early access that was promised and so far between maintenance and server is full, I haven't gotten the early access I purchased. This was to be inclusive with the rest of the game or else I could have just waited and got the game at or after release.
