They had updates in game via the Help Desk this morning.

The launcher has been updated 3 or 4 times.

The Loadstone has been updated just as many....

How is that now updating us on anything?

Because people like the threadstarter are the kind of person who thinks that if something doesn't go exactly to plan, down to the last minute detail, then they deserve a personal apology from the head guy. They haven't received a personal apology from the head guy, so therefor they're not communicating!

Not everyone knows computer/game tech. What do you really expect them to say? LOL break down every click, drag, and number? There intention is only to let people know they are working on it and that's all you need to know

Even if you don't understand the lingo, if they fired off a bunch of it in an update, it would make them seem a bit more competent. As it stands, the constant updates are "we know there is a problem, we don't know how to fix it." Totally different situation.
