So getting kicked for being AFK for 5 minutes is reasonable? No wonder new MMOs tend to fail once they hit the western demographic.

I never said 5 minutes, someone else did. And yes, 5 minutes is way too short of a time. I also think an hour is actually too long. I'd say 30 minutes is good if you give a 5 minute warning after the 30 min time frame.

Getting booted after being afk for an hour sounds reasonable. Definitely better than the situation now where you can afk forever. I forgot and left my character logged in once in a previous phase and when I came back she was still in-game and this was close to a 24 hour period. Crazy.
