Materia System

Oh come on! without FF7 the series wouldn't be where it is today.

And that's more than reason enough to abandon it.

But, in all seriousness, whether materia is a good system or not, don't you think it's a bit tacky to bring it over when materia is not exactly a hugely recurring theme in final fantasy games? Shouldn't we leave it in the past.
