Laughing so hard at the people in this thread actually believing that OP was talking about in-game population.

In any case, it's ridiculous believing the japanese servers have anywhere near the same amount of people trying to access them as the NA/EU servers do.
Sure you can count in india and southeeast asia; but truth of the matter is this game just isn't accessible to them. Most of the people there who actually play computer games play the more easily accessible games such as LoL etc. at internetcafes, and those who actually play from computers in their homes would likely not play this game either, its very hardware dependant.
I can see some korean players being interested, but there are so many korean MMOs that are crowding the markets that they're more likely flocking to + they still wouldn't make up nearly the same amount of people interested in this game coming from NA and EU.

In the EU and US MMORPGs have become a huge part of our culture, and alot of peoples day-to-day life.

Why even argue the numbers when the servers clearly reflect the OP's point.


EU/US servers are packed like Chinese food and half the JP servers are ghost towns.

Had a friend try and buy the game today. Had a tough time with the purchase and things running slow. Was charged twice because of it as well and then never got a working code. He canceled and is getting his money back and I doubt will try again. Should have heard the cussing during all this. Was rather impressive. So yes I would say the server issues are hurting them big time right now and the people that are unsure about the game will go back to what they know instead of trying something new, which is sad.
