Where's Tanaka the Doblyn?
Where's Tanaka the Doblyn?
i got ADD... so ya grammar error gonna happen. I'm calm though.lol calm down, I can see I am getting under your skin... you can barely form a sentence without a grammatical error ^^ All I am saying is that if you cannot commit the time, then don't cry about having horrible gear. Obviously someone with capped out levels and amazing gear is better than someone with nothing... duh! I am not against casual players, I just don't think they should cry so much. And honestly, you don't know anything about my RL either so don't keep talking this gamer AA #*!&.
Sorry but nothing you said is remotely true. I tried a good portion of said "leet" gear. Honestly there was heardly a difference with or with out it.
Everyone should have equal chances to do content in mmo. ffxi wasn't popular.. which it is why it never did well and slowly bled subs out. SE said ffxiv was gonna be less time consuming to make it so anyone can do anything. The challenge is in the fight.
You forgot the "proness" of getting the claim from the other 3 LS'.Oh yeah, the difficulty to stay awake until 3 in the morning to be there when it pops and have to go to work at 9am (without having had the claim of course)? The difficulty to wait for hours without just dying of boredomeness? I'm very curious about what 'difficulties' you are talking about.
I'm referencing other comments by saying, just make them stronger. 24hr pops will perpetuate botting and I have no idea why anyone would make this suggestion. It's probably the #1 complaint in end game with FFXI. If it's uniqueness you're after, be a unique person with great player skill. Gear doesn't separate the men from the boys, not entirely.
I myself have alot of spare time to play the game. I enjoy playing and it could certainly be seen as an addiction. Although I consider camping NM's for 24 hours a waste of my time, there are other players that enjoy it. I think fights that showcase your characters strength as important. Obviously there are at least 2 players that think long time camping NM's is enjoyable. Maybe SE could put a few of these NM's in game to appease the players that enjoy long time camping.
Seems people have forgotten about this:
I'm okay with 20+ hour respawns as long as the rewards are based on contribution rather than whoever has the fastest claimbot.9. If the current target claiming system were done away with, would you be in favor of a system that rewards skill, experience, and loot only to the party that first deals damage to an enemy? Or would you be in favor of skill, experience, and loot being distributed amongst all parties that contributed to an enemy's defeat?
Skill, experience, and loot going to only the first party to deal damage to an enemy: 47.5%
Skill, experience, and loot going to all parties taking part in an enemy's defeat: 52.5%
The point of a 24 hour NM if you can't camp it every time. Do you not understand that? You have to be commited to the game to get what you want. You can't just go get it anytime you want.Oh yeah, the difficulty to stay awake until 3 in the morning to be there when it pops and have to go to work at 9am (without having had the claim of course)? The difficulty to wait for hours without just dying of boredomeness? I'm very curious about what 'difficulties' you are talking about.
Did you even play XI?? Like seriously? If you attention span can't last 3 hours then why are you playing an MMO? You probably wouldn't have even been able to get an exp PT if you're the ADHD.
The claiming system of NMs in XI made claim bots completely ineffective. It was all luck and commitment to show and have a shot.
It would only perpetuate botting if it was set up like the older FFXI HNM's. More recent one's popped during wider windows and over a much larger area. Botting would be pointless, as would camping.I'm referencing other comments by saying, just make them stronger. 24hr pops will perpetuate botting and I have no idea why anyone would make this suggestion. It's probably the #1 complaint in end game with FFXI. If it's uniqueness you're after, be a unique person with great player skill. Gear doesn't separate the men from the boys, not entirely.
DO YOU READ?????????? Let's say a mob (a monster for people like you) pops in 3 different zones. So you're all spread out, it pops in 1 of the zones and kills half your party, the rest of you get there, but half to pull some shit out to even survive. The rest of the people come and watch you fight lagging you to death because they want you to die, your weakened comrades come back and start fighting....This is the shit you will not experience with forced pop NMs, or instances..Oh yeah, the difficulty to stay awake until 3 in the morning to be there when it pops and have to go to work at 9am (without having had the claim of course)? The difficulty to wait for hours without just dying of boredomeness? I'm very curious about what 'difficulties' you are talking about.
THAT IS A LAYER OF DIFFICULTY CAN YOU NOT SEE THAT? Or all you see is "ZOMG 24hr NM NOOO"
Because JP players from the previous poll blatantly have shown that they dedicate their time more if not LESS due to their timely schedule and wish to solo on their own time as a way to relieve their stress from work.
So meta gaming on where the rare monster is going to spawn is the difficult part of the FIGHT? Come on buddy.Let's say a mob pops in 3 different zones. So you're all spread out, it pops in 1 of the zones and kills half your party, the rest of you get there, but half to pull some shit out to even survive. The rest of the people come and watch you fight lagging you to death because they want you to die, your weakened comrades come back and start fighting.
Uh.
