I have not bashed a single person in this thread. All I've said is that I find the particular proposed game mechanic boring and that I'd prefer to see more interesting alternatives for rare loot pursued with limited dev resources.

"Standing in a circle" is easier to do. And it doesn't "bar anyone from content".
I'd rather they focus their time on other issues (like the claim issue noted above). Pushing for the implementation of game mechanics from 2k3 is a waste of dev time/resources. And yes...popping monsters on a clock is should be easy to implement, but any NM that is put on a 24hr pop clock is a waste of creative talent that should have been building more interesting content around the NM. That's the real waste.
