Oh yeah, the difficulty to stay awake until 3 in the morning to be there when it pops and have to go to work at 9am (without having had the claim of course)? The difficulty to wait for hours without just dying of boredomeness? I'm very curious about what 'difficulties' you are talking about.

The point of a 24 hour NM if you can't camp it every time. Do you not understand that? You have to be commited to the game to get what you want. You can't just go get it anytime you want.

Did you even play XI?? Like seriously? If you attention span can't last 3 hours then why are you playing an MMO? You probably wouldn't have even been able to get an exp PT if you're the ADHD.

I'm okay with 20+ hour respawns as long as the rewards are based on contribution rather than whoever has the fastest claimbot.

The claiming system of NMs in XI made claim bots completely ineffective. It was all luck and commitment to show and have a shot.

Lol of course I played FFXI and lol about 'Not camping it everytime' (works on paper but you know how those no lifers are). Commitment to a game? Sure the psychologists would love to discuss that one with you lol. Who talked about gettting things anytime ones want?
I did all the endgame shit and stopped playing FFXI for one simple reason: Time sink activities that had nothing to do with challenge!
My attention is focused at my work! I play to have fun. About my 'exp PT' epxerience, I was RDM so no problem getting a party or getting to cap. Better gears doesn't mean better players. It just means you have a better tool, doesn't mean you necessarely do better with it.

And people want this back? I better go back to FPS, RTS, or fighting games that actually reward those that put effort into their victory if this gets implemented.

not really i seen a bot claim before they use a hack to know where the nm was going to appear. I seen a few hacks that claimed the nm before it even spawn and no one was with in range of it.

I'll say it again. A PATCH LATER IN XI PUT A RANDOM TIMER ON NMs THAT WOULD STUN YOU IF YOU TRIED TO CLAIM TO FAST. CLAIM BOTS DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. YOU'RE JUST MAD YOU DIDN'T CLAIM.

Ever considered that most Maintenances are at EU Prime Time, which will make it JP Morning and US Afternoon. So what are the people supposed to do who are not willing to wake up at 3AM in the morning to get a chance on a claim?

Oh right...people who can't wake up at 3AM in the morning to fight a stupid NM are definetely not leet and skillful enough to get the items they could drop...forgot that...stupid me...

I seem to forget the basic formula for MMORPGs [Time = Skill]...why make bosses harder so less people actually defeat them, rather then make them spawn once every 24h, which is clearly the "better" choice ...

Whoever is voting for 24h Time Windows and/or "Like" those posts...get a fucking life, get a job, a girlfriend w/e...you seem to have wasted your life and need to sort out your priorities again.
