So just because bot use is inevitable we should encourage game aspects that would use them? At that point whats the point? It just boils down to who has the better bot?

Make it 24hr with a 1 hr window, make it hard, and make it resistant to emulate. simple. Oh and make the drop rate under 5%.

Sure....make that same item virtually useless as well. So you're not required to do that to be considered for groups. All you're doing is creating elitism imposing such artificial barriers. Why not make it triggerable with a guild leve reset/week repop timer, make it hard, make it resistant to emulate, and make the drop rate something better.
