Times have moved forward. Now we need accessible challenging content that is within reach of players who have jobs and work for a living. I'm not saying make it easy because that is the last thing I want, but I am saying make it so that most players can actually reach this content.

Exactly. I don't understand what they want.
Who honestly thinks someone playing 10 hours a week should be at the same level as someone playing almost everyday all day? It takes the fun away of even playing.
Putting time in to getting something is effort. Commitment. Effort is not hitting X or 1 500 times with your eyes going in different directions.

sorry but... 24 hr nm are for as the japanese called them NEETs.
honestly you guys get off on limiting gameplay or players... ffxiv isn't gonna have ppl play if content is so limiting.
this is the first mmo where ppl wanted it "harder" and "time consuming"
sorry even if I play 12+ hrs a day don't mean ima want to sit and wait for nms.
heck took me 4 years to get bounding boots. Missed alot of parties cuz of that.

Moth and scareface go look up gamer addict and find some online self help. You to are acting like NEETs or no life gamers. Sorry but claiming an nm is easy. Its killing it is what really matters. I out claimed most japanes or rmt. Infact. I was home sick one day with a temp of 100+ i took time to see about getting me a pair of okote befire the maint that day. The nm pops I out pulled 2 others and got the item. Then i come to find out it wasn't even worth it. I saw no difference in my dmg as mnk nin or sam. I ended uo getting sicker that day also. I had a bronci (somthing) infection that i get once a year or every other year since the christmas of 1998. not being able to breath sucked. And getting sicker wasn't great either.

I'm a gamer. I started out playing ffxi under a 2 hr limit. I saved up money from my part timre job I finally got @ 19 to buy a router, wireless game adptor, a second ps2, and a second copy of ffxi just for the HDD so i could play ffxi longer. Adverage time after.... 12-16 hours. Maybe 20 hrs if i can't sleep. I hunted hnm before, ran dynamis, did some sky, and spent days if not weeks hunting other nms for drops. I got sick numerous times doing that. Trust me no item on a video game is worth the health risk. I made that mistake. And also I had kirins osode, ohate, okote, and brown belt. Kirin thingy was borrowed from my ex. I tried them and honestly they are not even worth it. I saw no difference.
FYI Part of the term NEET is No Education, employment and i forget what T stood for atm.
pretty much they are shut in bums. Who have no life and spend every waking moment doing nothing.

and vish nolifer don;t ever comment on adhd lighty..... its not really cool to have it. And at this point youh never even read what that per wrote they are not talking about playing 3 hours. they are talking about staying UP TILL 3am then going to work 6 hoursa later. 6 hours is not enough sleep.

actually the bot claim I saw wasn't even for an NM i was after. I plaued ffxi since feb of 2011 no update did that all it did was not let anyone claim the nm the second it pop, it didn't stun you. I was watching a few ppl i knew fight the nm as I never seen it. I never get made at a mob claim. And a bot don't claim on spawn it wats a few seconds before doing so the claimbot I saw was AFTER the update.
I spent my life playing ffxi and I regreat doing so. I lost the love of my life over it. You get how bad it is yet? No game should rule youre life. And no item in a game is worth getting sick over scar and vich grow up and get help before you hit rock bottom.
And visch don't hate on ppl for not wanting 24 hour pops you made the thread stop getting mad at ppl for not agreeing with you. I know just about everything in ffxi. I hope to get my life in check with a better job so I can play it again. Or just wait til 14 comes out since I can just use the ultimate game pay card.
