How about a linkshell bot that does that for hours? and then when they leave a JP bot linkshell come and take it from you again? Btw they do this to you every 1hour because that the repop from it? Then if you do get it , fail no drop? then you get it 20 more time and no drop? you try tomorrow and the same ls is there again? So at the end it does not matter if it's 24 or 1hour
At the end i bet you be the person buying there drop anywayshave the bots do the job for you while you see tv then buy it off you and you wont be ban because you just did not know

Sadly Bots would be in the game there a few website selling crafting bots for 5$ a month -.- i bet that how most players are getting 5+ craft to 50 in such a short time.
SE please do something about the bots![]()

I can't believe some people think they're good players because they spent months getting some item due to a shitty system. I camped Kings for years and I saw a shitton of those. Just because you spend your playtime STANDING AROUND (cause that's all you do when you camp a HNM on FFXI) doesn't mean you're badass. And please, please don't say killing Kings meant you were good cause that's bullshit. They weren't hard.
Basically you're just saying good gear should only come to people who don't mind standing still for hours because that means they have more skills than those who don't. If not that, you think they deserve it more cause they're willing to just stand there with their dicks in their hands. And are you REALLY using lag as a good example of why Kings were fun and challenging in FFXI? Hey buddy, I can set up a fight against Bubblie Bernie at 0.5fps if you want, cool challenge. I can't believe that shit, lol.
Anyway, you can go back to camping Fafnir and prove your worth all you want. Personally, I'll just go back to having fun and getting the other kind of gear, the one you get through playing, and not doing nothing in a crowded zone.

FFXI can run at pretty much Full setting on any giving Computer made i the pass 6years o.o i had full 30FPS with 30+ players. You have a point and then again you don't the badass part is you have a rare item not everyone can get.I can't believe some people think they're good players because they spent months getting some item due to a shitty system. Without a doubt I am so for 24 hour HNMs and even 3-7 day respawns.
Player-skill wise they are not. But they have the patience and courage to go through this. That doesn't make a good player but it helps a good player to become even better. I also camped HNMs for years in FFXI to get items like e.body, ridill, dring and so on. Sometimes it's annoying to deal with competing ls/bots and droprates but after all it was fun, i don't regret it.
For those who dislike the timed respawn for HNM's Square Enix could add something like the VNM system we know from FFXI which would work very well in XIV's large areas.
Oh well, 24hr HNM....that's sooo 2005, can't wait for it![]()

You guys do know SE is lowering the Pop times of all NM's in XI to be lower then 24 hours? Even the oldbies like Argus might end up as 2-5 hour repops.
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.

I actually took the time to read every post in this thread and I have to say I am both amused and disgusted. The things i've read from Visch and his two groupies are just pathetic and have no place on this forum or any other, especially when the majority of the posts were insulting and personally attacking others. Grow up, seriously.
And another thing, I consider myself on the middleground between hardcore and casual since I spend a lot of time in this game (8-10 hours) and I still find the time to do activities in real life like go to school and hang out with friends. It's my personal opinion when I say I look down on those who prioritize video gaming over real life, which is beyond pathetic to me and is a sign of weakness and low self asteem. As in, "I will never amount to anything in the real world so i'll retreat to a virtual universe where I can be the best!"
