nope, for them this never was about fun and game play.
They just want to show off the rare items. If SE would sell rares for cash, they would buy it.
there are so many good solutions to make items rare but they want the 24h pops only for the reason because people who work and have families have less chance to get em.
Instead they will camp the NMs 24 7 and collect the loot.
This people have zero skill. The good gamer don’t call them self champs and perfectionists.
Those guys are just talk, hot air but no substance.

Ever heard of casual gamer do hardcore NM botting or using grafting bots?

Regarding 24 hour pops, I don't get how sitting and waiting for something to appear can be considered fun gameplay. There's no challenge involved in waiting 24 hours for something to appear. On FFXI while waiting for an NM to show up I'd have to reach for my PSP and play another game to keep myself entertained while already playing a game - this is kind of silly in my opinion. Also inb4 my current rank is brought into question and something about how I never got ridill or something along these lines...truly my opinion-nay my life-is invalid!

With the current system I don't like 24 hour HNMs unless there was maybe only one or two of them. Now when more areas come out and content I would be fine with having both, NMs like we got and maybe a handful of HNMs for the most dedicated LS. Only thing I don't like about the 24 HNM spawns is you end up with people using claiming bots and that takes no skill and makes an unfair advantage for others.

you never played an mmo for long have you. in time everyone ends up getting all the gear. And there is more to mmo then getting gear.

why bother having quests or leveling or missions or crafts if all people want to do is hunt nms for gear, that really was never worth it in the end.

You are confusing accessibility for challenge. No one is asking for the equipment to be handed to them, they're only asking for the opportunity to be more accessible, and for the difficulty / drop rate to be adjusted accordingly.

HNMs (like a flying dragon for example) should roam/pop randomly around all Eorzea, with a reasonable respawn time.

One monster popping anywhere in Eorzea is endlessly dumb, casuals are already complaining about not getting rare gear fast enough before good gear has even released, whatever that mob would drop, you and almost anyone elce will never see.
