Service Accounts

That seems to be the million dollar question. A lot of people, including myself, are experiencing similar problems. I registered my EA code to my SE account, did all the steps correctly. Yet, it shows me have two service accounts..all my characters are on the first and it says "can not be played in this environment", but I can get onto the second randomly created account. It makes no sense..at all. I hope we all get answers soon.

I had this same problem because i made a second service account by mistake and applied the EA code to it ( lol idk wth was i smoking >XD). When I tried to log into my original service accnt, I got the same message saying I couldn't play my original sevice account (where I have all my lvl'd up characters). I decided to try something afterwards. I pre-ordered from Amazon, used and redeemed the pre-order code and then launched the game. It then asked me where do I want to apply the pre-order bonus stuff and I put it on my original service account. After that, I was able to play with my original service account again. I guess your second service account is the only account registered for early access and not your first one. That's why you can't use it now unless you get another EA code.

Yeah, I read in another thread that was the easiest way to fix the problem. I ended up using not one, not two, not three...but FOUR codes on my account and nothing changed. Only shot I have now is to wait until tomorrow at midnight. I ordered a physical copy, so that should do it. Also, I only have the one SE account so..I am not sure how it happened. Picked the right region, platform, existing SE account, etc. It just doesn't add up.

Another thing that has me worried is, since I downloaded the digital CE from PSN and tied the pre-order goodies and EA to my second service account first , does that mean that my CE items will be tied to my second service account? Or will they give us the option to select in which service account we want it at launch. All it mentioned were pre-order items but still, I'm gonna be sooo pissed if I have to start again in the 2nd SA because of those CE items -.-

As long as your service accounts have the same handle, you will get them on all accounts. They did a big Q&A a while back about the subject.

So I'm trying to get this straight. My account with 3 service accounts:
1) FFXIV 1.0 Beta
2) FFXIV 1.0 CE, FFXIV ARR Beta
3) FFXIV ARR Pre-Order

my active one is the 3rd one, will I get the CE and Pre-Order bonuses?

If not what should i do? Its close to release time so re-buying the pre-order and applying to my #2 wouldn't be an option. Am I stuck with choosing which service account to play with?

So I have had my account sense the ffxiv first came out with the CE, Pre ordered the game under the same account for Pc and PS3 and now it wont let me log in to load stone or the game b/c I have to reg something at some dumb Mog Site which isnt up.
I go to Square enix account management (u know where u used to buy all ur Crysta. ) and its saying I have a ffxiv account registered. Yet in loadstone nothing is registered lol I have a lvled up char and what not. So do none of these sites that are all for the same damn game, none of them communicate or share info with each other.. im lost..??
