Request: Forum Display Rename Option for 1.0 Accounts

We were able to redesign our characters and rename ourselves in the game, I think it would only be fair if you allow accounts which were created before August 2013 to be able to "Rename" themselves. Indeed, this would likely reset their post history too. I'm totally okay with this as I do not exactly have a post history.

I would very much like to change my forum name, and I know may others do too. Here is a link to another topic in the General Discussion Forum.

Instead of changing the UserID to the account which could be intensive, why not just have the FORUM DISPLAY NAME be the same as the CHARACTER NAME that you select?

That way it's the most current and this "feature" isn't new, take a look at the WoW forums that pull character information and allow people to post as the character rather than their login ID.

We're already halfway there with the character mini-bios with the avatar, why not the forum name too?

Considering I want my Forum Name to be my Character Name, that actually sounds like a good idea.

I would also like to be allowed to change my display name for the same reason. Frustrating that I have to use the name of my old 1.0 character.

I'd be happy if I could use the name of my 2.0 character at the very least.

Likewise. I'd really like to have my newly renamed character's name displayed as my forum name, whether it be just my girl's first name or both her first and surname. Is there any chance that we'll be given this option at some point (rather sooner than later)?
