I have read a lot of forums posts.
and I have this notion that people say that EA is only a bonus and that we should be thankful. Yeah, it is so. It is only a bonus and a sales pitch. Agreed.

However throwing my mind a few days into the future. If SE can not get the preorder servers working properly and it is lets say 45000 people trying to play. It makes me wonder what happens when the BIG push comes at release day. Then we are not only talking about 45000 people.

I am putting good money on that server is doing to do down faster than a small big mac and a small coke.

What then?

I have said this with every MMO I have tried and there is quite a few of them on my notch. I give it the 30 days that I paid for when I purchased the game. If by 30 days the servers are not properly fixed (not saying pristine but at least reasonably working) then I will drop this game faster than you can say "What was that....?"

More than likely this issue will be fixed before the game is officially released. Yes I do agree with what others have said, that they should give NA/EU more priority over JP since most of their income will be coming from us (Pure speculation from what I can see), however, the way I see it is, them taking their time to fix this will end up to our benefit. It's easy to just do a quick fix, however if they can take their time and thoroughly fix things before the actual game comes we know we'll never have to deal with this again.

Very rational thinking, OP. I agree with ya!

Except I'd speculate that the majority of people who will be playing on Tuesday are trying to play this weekend. The ratio between those who are playing now and those who will not start till Tuesday are probably somewhere around 3:1. Just my speculation, though.
