    Even newer MMOs have had beta/prelaunch/launch issues. I remember The Secret World was completely unplayable for me during beta and that game's only been out 1 year. Then SW:TOR I remember having a hell of a time logging in for more than 10 minutes IF I managed to log in.

    Daikatana's launch wasn't very good... Neverwinter had the same issues as FFXIV - overwhelming interests... GW2 was pretty harsh - up until FFXIV - GW2 was the only game I couldn't get into on "launch" pre-launch or otherwise.
