I feel like this is more like backhandedly pushing the release date back. You could technically play on your early access registration code until the 30th to allow for late deliveries of the game. But yes, please...log off Hyperion!

I noticed this as well. It didnt mention a delay in the official release but it had me worried. Anyone know if official release is going to be delayed til after Thurs?

It's still 27th as release date, this is the grace period.

It's not an extension, it's a grace period to ensure that those that receive their physical copies late still manage to play at launch. Pretty sure they've said this a couple of times, with the latest one I bothered to look for being Bayohne's on the 23rd of August, before this whole Early Access debacle even kicked off.

As has been said, its a grace period for allowing you to receive your physical copy late.
Almost all MMOs with an early access do this.

Yes it is extended to Thursday, but if I have to sit here and click "start" "character" "play" "denied" for 4 hours to get in for 1 hour everyday it's not worth it.
