PS3 - 'Error: This is an invalid operation. Please log in again from the top page'

Hi, I'm a 1.0 FFXIV player, so I already have a working account and have been playing the early access on PC for a few days now. Today I got my pre-order copy of FFXIV: ARR for the PS3 in the mail. I redeemed the code on the PSN store and installed the game off the disc with no problems. After I tried to boot up the game and accept the license agreement however, I got this error message: 'Error: This is an invalid operation. Please log in again from the top page'. I don't even get to see a log-in screen, this is all that appears. At this point there's nothing I can do except turn the system off and try again.

Does anyone else have this or can offer any solutions as to how to get past it? I'm fairly certain I've entered all the codes and linked my accounts.
