How do i continue the main scenario questline?

I completed the main storyline up to and including the ul'dahn envoy. I have searched every starting city for the quest and nothing. I've use the duty function to find recomended quests. nothing. Can anyone help?

try going back into walking sands or leveling up. Every story quest leads right to the next story quest. If its not from the person you turnt it into, its a npc in very close proximity. Keep in mind, sometimes the story quest will jump a level, so while you may have been high enough to receive that level 25 quest, the followup quest could be level 26 and you wouldn't be able to receive it.

For whatever reason right now, some quest givers are sometimes not showing the red quest marker above them when they offer a quest for you once you've leveled up. I've experienced this personally when I dinged near Quarrymill and tons of level 26 quests just appeared without any indication beforehand that they would become available then.

I found out that the next quest is named "call of the sea" and is labeled as a level 15 quest. I am currently level 22 and i can not start the quest by speaking with bartholomew. anyone else having the same issue?

I am having the same issue, I guess I missed Bartholomew before, how do I get back to him? they guy wont let me in the lift to see the admiral.

If it's about Bartholomew quests, you have to equip the earrings before talking to him. That's the quest requirements in quest log. If that still doesn't work, contact SE customer service.

OK I found it, in the only place no-one recommended me to go, so for anyone else who may have the issue. Go to Gridania and look in Old Gridania / Nophicas Alter (bottom left of map) Would recommend trying all the town leaders too, seems it can be any of them

I have the same issue and cannot find a way to resolve it at Nophicas Alter... No quest givers just people telling me to be quiet.. anything more to solve this?

Confirmed that this one worked. Thanks for running this one down. It was driving me CRAZY! The NPS that starts it is named Serpent Officer
