    You all should be expecting companies THIS PATCH (1.17!). Look at the dev tags on the lodestone post. 1002 Storylines and world quests and 1003 Public company quests

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.     Assuming Yoshi wasn't yanking our chain, looks like company info will be released tomorrow coinciding with the maintenance. Seems like they're trying to create a fully fledged page for it I'd think.

    Either tomorrow or when the maintanence starts. Thats usually when all the juicy info is usually released.

    I will dissagree about Companies being in this patch. If they were they would of stated it. That would get some more buzz and maybe get some people to log in. The stuff they left out of the patch notes are just the details on how the new stuff will be working. Like the how long between each behest, new NM info, new 8 party buffs and the Easter event. Maybe some other minor tweaks .


    EDIT: Dev 1003 is incharge os Company Quests and Dev 1002 in Side Quests. So Benji you might be on to something. Good job paying attention.

    They said they were going to release the info on companies right before patch 1.17 goes live. Read the dev tags in the lodestone post. The proof is right there.

    I think in this particular post they downplayed the fact that companies are included. Why hype a feature that you've released no information on thus far apart from a name change? We're probably going to get all the information on companies tomorrow or Thursday, considering something involving them WILL be playable after 1.17.
