What money are you talking about. there's no subscription fee yet. you didn't have to pay anything in order to play today.

Oh you mean you preordered just so you could get early access? ohh, well is there some extra preorder fee i don't know about? oh there isn't? i didn't think there was.

Oh so then you mean the money you spent on the actual game itself. CE or regular you did pay for it your right. Soooo let's say they do decide to push back the launch of the game until the fix this issue. Is your game going to now cost more or less then the day you bought it? No it's not

Do you like the content? do you like FF? do you like online mmo's? that is why your hear right? so guess what. all of that will still be here even if your not. Other then that, my wallet didn't notice that there are launch issues going on because guess what. I didn't waste a penny on this weekend. You already decided you were going to buy this game based on alpha/beta's content, where there were more problems so stop pretending your going to quit because of a few bugs. The only thing making you quit is your poor attitude.

I think you forgot one issue. MMOs don't have a problem launching. This isn't 2004.

For instance.

Rift, near perfect launch.
Aion, near perfect launch.
GW2 had issues for about a day. But still playable, no caps, no limits, etc.
Tera had some lag spikes, for a few days. But still easily playable.
Star wars, no issues.
LOTRO, had some server issues for first few hours. Then was fine, minus the occasional spike.


And even still, when I was 5 years old. In little league baseball. You know what the coach taught me? It's always easier to run in to the ball, it's harder to run outwards to it, give yourself room.

It seems Squeenix took the approach of It's easier to ask forgiveness instead of permission.

Actually Bean, everything you said about not paying is incorrect. Every single person that's playing this weekend has already paid for the game. It's not a beta. The game is supposed to be live for those who paid in advance. We were promised early access and it was part of the deal that we got for pre-ordering the game. We are entitled to the time that they promised us and have every right to complain about their crappy service. They aren't even keeping us up to date with the issues. This is terrible customer service and there's no excuse for it when we have already paid.

First off, i already paid and have been charged for my preorder. Second off no, im not going to support this game on name alone because that is just an idiotic thing to do and i don't even like FF games, they bore me to death. I preorded based off the knowledge of beta phase 3 that i found the controller gameplay really fun, and preordered for the early access, i could not care less about a silly hat or stupid cat minion thing and would sell them in a heartbeat if i could on the marketplace. I was able to log in for an hour last night until i got error 90k, and have not been able to log in since the world has always been full or it just has not been able to load NA/EU server, considering EA was the ONLY reason i preordered i do find it disheartening.


All of this is confounded when the Japanese servers are apparently running fine like clockwork (all second hand information, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong) which just makes it seem like they could not care less about there NA/EU players. Whether that is true or not i can't say but it sure seems like it! This just feels like FF11 all over again which i truely believed things would get better after their talk about how this game will make or break them as a company but it sure don't seem it.
