Party size reduction a good change?

That said, I hope they allow for alliances. This will cause havoc on NM runs seeing as we always have more than 8 people wanting to go. Sure, they don't take 16 but its still nice to include everyone.

Uhm even if they leave the current NM as they are I don't think it would be a problem, most of them can be killed with 8 people and usually there's more than one NM up, so if you have 15 ppl online you can split into two parties and have two challenging fights instead on only one easy fight :P

Pretty much this. The only real NM that's a pain is Great Buffalo, but other than that it's not too bad. We also don't know if they'll scale the difficulty or not.
