    No access code... twice.

    So I'm trying to buy the pre-release for my friend. I purchased it logged into his account. We waited two hours... no e-mail containing the directions and the code. Thinking it might have been just a glitch, I cancelled the order and re-ordered it on my account, where I'd take the code and just plug it into his. No e-mail, again.

    Is there a problem with the system? Or am I doing something wrong? Yes, I've triple-checked what e-mail address they're supposed to send it to, yes, they have the money. When I bought mine, the e-mail was instantaneous. Should I just be patient? Or is something wrong?

    Hey Feyfire, yeah there is an issue for some people and they are either receiving an NA code when they are in EU, vice versa, and some customers just havent received their code at all even if they preordered months ago. I contacted them via telephone and was advised that they knew about the problem and were working on it as quickly as they can. Unfortunately they also advised that they could not guarantee an early access code before the official launch date of the 27th.

    I would advise you to submit a support ticket just in case they can get to you in time.

    PS After not receiving my pre order code, I just purchased another via the Square Enix Store and got a code in less than five minutes. Maybe I was just lucky. If you do decide to try reordering again, may I suggest you use a different email address to the one you got your first code with. I just have a feeling that the automated system is glitching when it comes to sending out more than one code to the same email address.
