FFXIV AAR PS3 issues

I don't know if this thread has already been started because I am not gonna spend my time before launch hounding the forums, but I just wanted to give an issue or any future issues I saw a place to be heard and maybe commented on or addressed. Even though I haven't started playing yet and have just been able to access the sign-in and update screen for FFXIV on my PS3 I find it annoying that I cannot access the playstation menu when I press the playstation button on my controller. This means I cannot quit the game so far (unless I hold the PS button) or talk to and friends on my playstation account. Now this may only be an issue right now or just with the sign-in and update screen, but I have to wonder if this issue extends to in-game. Unfortunately I cannot know until later tonight, when I get early access but either way it should be addressed and fixed (unless it already has been, in which case good job on catching it).

If I should find anymore issues or I have an update to this one I will post it here, and I encourage others to do so as well. I do however request that character issues such as with job and class be posted in a separate thread(but it would be a better idea to make a separate thread for each class). I have seen blizzards forums and I know all to well that this thread will fill up too fast if those were included. Everyone and their mom wanted to complain about how under-powered their class was compared to others, and while sometimes this might have been the case, most of the time the person was just ignoring the fact that they didn't know their tune all that well or they were just a unpracticed at it (there was the issue of being just a horrible strategist too).

Update: ok, so now that I've played the actual game the ps3 button problem just seems to be localized at the sign-in screen and does not extend to the actual game, which is good, but I still see it as a problem that you cant access the PS menu prior to game play.

A couple new problems I have noticed are that for some reason when I will be targeting an enemy it will randomly change targets and usually to a carbuncle which i have to say almost has gotten me killed acouple times and make doing fates almost impossible. The targeting system for the ps3 is a long process compared to the PC as it is but, this glitch is horrible. again I dont know if its just me or the arcanist I play but still I thought I would say it here so that I might get more feedback about it.

Another problem Ive noticed is some of the quests not displaying their locations on the map, so like I am still looking to dig up that last rock near lomina ( or whatever the starter city for arcanists are) or the speedy goblins that you had to find although those were fairly easy to find by themselves. Is this supposed to be like this?

As before if I have any updates or I find anything else I will post it here and I encourage others to do the same.
