You didn't pay for early access

Actually, yes, everyone did pay for Early Access. I really wish MMO apologists would stop trotting out this tired excuse. That $30 that I gave SE 2 months ago when I pre-ordered? It could've been sitting in my bank account until the 27th earning me interest. Instead, it's been sitting in SE's bank account along with everyone else's money earning THEM interest. In exchange for that, the agreement was that we would gain the ability to play 3 days earlier than those who held onto their cash. Early Access isn't some generous gift from SE or any other company, and it being treated like an additional beta phase should absolutely not be tolerated.

As for these issues being a "normal" part of an MMO launch, it's not 1999 anymore. It's not even 2004 anymore. It's 4 months shy of 2014, and developers/publishers no longer have an excuse for not anticipating these sorts of issues and planning accordingly to deliver uninterrupted service to their customers, especially for P2P MMOs and extra-especially from a company like SE that has previously launched two other MMOs and apparently never learned from past mistakes.
