Hi there SquareEnix Dev-Team, FF-Players, Complainers and so on..

First of all i hope the families of our Japanese Friends all are fine after the Stuff happened the last weeks. I wish you all the best and hope everything will go the right way for you.

Next... i also have to thank all the FF-Players which are going hand in hand with SE and stand by their side to make the game what we all want it to be. IMO i love this Game allready and im looking forward to the Stuff which will come through Updates to us.

Another Note to all the complaining People out there.. Please stay quiet if you just want to complain. Its not helping... you could help if you will be constructive and say what the game will improve and not what its making it bad at the current state.

And here we go to Topic:

These Idea, Opinions and Thoughts are from a couple FFXIV Players i gathered within the last Months and i guess its a good time to post SOME of them.

There is no Order for Priority tho, i just have to start somewhere.

General Stuff:

1. Stat Points

There is not a real difference between Stats at all. A lot People switched back and forth between STR and DEX and there was not really a difference when they were fighting Stuff. So these Things should be more clear. Like if i go for STR i want to see more DMG, if i go for DEX i want more Crit Hits and so on. There is a difference yeah.. but not like it should be. If i add Acc or Atk i wont to see it on the Dmg i do.. If there is no difference, why would i get better Gear?

Some Thoughts about that:

- Redo the Stat Points in General
- Seperate the Stat Points by Crafting, Combat and Field Classes
- Add something like Merits
- Use the FFXI System
- Improving of Stats on Gear ( its really unbalanced atm )
as in there is always Gear with Elemental Stuff on it, but no Acc, Atk, MAtk, Macc?

2. Battle System

Since SE is on that right now i will wait with Comments to this Point, till we know how the "new" System will look like.

3. Crafting System

The Crafting System is O.K.! A lot People like it, including myself and i wouldnt really change much about it. But still there are some Points which could be improved like the Abilities or the Combination of 2 or more Crafts.

Some Thoughts about that:

- Add Subclasses a way you can see! it.
its to much of guessing about that.. is there really a difference in my Results if i got another Craft leveld? I saw People HQ'ing Stuff without having the mentioned Sub ( on different Fanpages ). So this should be cleared.
- Make Abilties usefull
Some of them dont really have an effect or its that little that you cant realize it.
- SideQuests for Crafter with Guildmarks/Job Specific Gear as Reward.

4. Fieldcrafts

What happend to the Content there? Im not sure really why just half the content have been added yet but its kind of weird. If you go Fish as a FSH50 there is no Fish-Difference from Grade 6 up to 10. There is no difference beside the SP you get.. Those should be more balanced or add more Types of Fish, which could end in different Foods. Speaking of Food.. The Food need adjustments as well. Like 20 Different Types of Foods give the same Stats?... Should be adjusted.

Some Thoughts about that:

- add more different Types of Fish
- More different Results by using different Baits/Lures/Rods

Same goes for Mining and Harvesting. I know there is a lack of Content but i dont understand that part since there exist allready Rank99 Fishes.. also in Recipes which you get as Reward from Leves, but you cant fish them up? Should get cleared.


5. General Thoughts

Wishes/Ideas of added Content:

- Dynamislike Events with Artifact-Armor
- JOB-Specific Gear restricted to the Job in General
- Quests!
- Transportations ( Choco/Airhsip/Ship etc )
- Put more effort into the Look of Abilities and give them different looks ( Only Resize is not the correct way )
- Moghouse or a place for the whole LS.. like a Ship/House/Cave?! Furnitures etc.. yes we love that lol.
- Something like a Linkshell-based Mission.. like the Linkshell can do events together and get "Points" for that and will "Rank up" to obtain "something".. Its just a vague Idea but it sounded nice to me.

Of Course there is a lot more people would LIKE but also there is more people dont like,
but im not going to add everything at the moment. That for we have to wait for the next Updates.

Its all about Ideas, Opinions and Thoughts.. we like and love the Game.. we are not complaining about how Things are at the moment, we are just trying to give some hints about some possible Improvements.
