Personally I would recommend starting in about 2 weeks time. There are some major updates on their way and from what we hear they should be trickling in about that time.

Right now, you will end up learning your class/role/job etc, only to have it revamped in about a months time. But as others have mentioned, starting sooner, rather than later will give you a good headstart to reach end game.

Oh, and something about the 19th (apparently. Idk, it's all i see on forums sometimes lol)

Ps, Lindblum is a decent realm with a reasonable population. there are some good Ls's out there to.
