I have this horrible feeling that 1017 is not in fact the type of error you think it is.

I have this horrible feeling, that this 'error', is in fact SE locking down their grossly overwhelmed, under prepared server network so that only so many connections can be allowed on the server at any one time.

That means, it's not an error. It's a decision. One that they have taken intentionally, and haven't made particularly clear. One that is an admission through action, but not word, that their launch is a horrible failure because they "didn't expect it to be such a massive success", and I am sure, in a week or less, they will post something with spin on it, to that effect, something that makes it seem like they have done so well through this process.

There's another problem that they face, on tuesday, a whole new load of players will attempt to create characters on their already maxed out servers. - It's already impossible to make characters on the vast majority of servers.
Lets face it. It's not going to get any better, any time soon.
So this post appealing for them to fix your character isn't going to serve anything. They already know that the NA/EU servers are boned. The proportion of servers to players is horrible and the regional splits show you just where their priorities lie.
If you aren't part of their domestic market, I'm afraid they just don't give a crap about you.

1017 they should remove it and put us in que atleaset like 5min or 10min , but this is wrong

I saw that.
That was two "emergency maintenances" ago. The situation has not improved
Nor does that suggest they're fixing the problem, or even begin to mention that they have a plan to do so.
Or even really go in to any detail on what the problem is.
It doesn't explain why there's /no/ queue at all.
The fact that they are using that as license to drop their already existing problem off for a similarly infuriating one is impressive.
So what now? Where's the information we should REALLY have had several hours ago?

A lot of AFK players sitting around tying up our servers. SE needs to incorporate the AFK disconnect for people AFK longer than an X amount of time. Keep trying though. When they do open it, you'll que in before they lock it back up.
