New server maintanence help

Perhaps the people at SE needs to hire some staff that knows what they are doing. Servers went up, went down, went up and now it is down again.

This looks more and more like a disaster and I for one do not think they know shiet about what they are doing. The jp servers are ticking along nicely, no problem, but the eu/na servers are down.

do SE really care? probably not. Otherwise they would have people working on the problem day and night to resolve this issue so it would not happen again.

I am looking forward to see what lame excuse they have. Cause it certainly is not data based since the servers in jp is working 100%.

It has to do with something in the server park for the na/eu and thats not high prio for the japanese based company.

I won't subscribe to this. I have had it with the non-information and the silence and not even asking for apology.

Funny that those that say "chill" or wait and defend SE, if you check...they actually gotten into the game.
Easy to say to chill then, since you are already in the game.

I have had a total of 5 minutes gameplay. so believe me iv had it worse.. cant believe I wasted money on this epic fail.. always loved final fantasy.. so dissapointed

I haven't played more than an hour, and even with that I can't get past my level 5 Marauder class quest, so I am stuck .. no crafting, no harvesting, no new quests, nothing.

Today I can't even find any servers at all.

So yeah ... I'm pissed too. i can't play. But I also am not QQing all over making constant new posts about crap we already know about and can't do crap about.

Here is a novel idea, how about to prevent ppl from afking have the server kick everyone every 3 hours from the time they log on. That will prevent those that get in to just afk and never leave cause that is being done by a lot of people when there is this bad servers.

But then you have the people complaining "well I don't want to be kicked going to the bathroom, or checking on my kids ... or X Y Z"

Yes there is a thread on this already.

But I don't think that is the problem now. The problem is, S-E didn't count on so many NA/EU people playing. So their servers are not up to the capacity load. Even if the AFKers were to be removed and actual people came on to play, the problem with the DF not being able to work cause of the large load of people hitting it is going to stop progress too.

I am not sure why they would have to put SOLO instances through the same DF that is used for GROUP instances. That is what boggles my mind.
