Now before you start judging me or saying its just a bonus.

First day of early acces, i could understand there were things wrong. i got one single level up that day, Yet in Phase 4, i went from 1->20/ 1->14 in one day.
And today? i haven't been able to even log in. Its either down, or its full or my NA/EU Grouplist doesn't update.

I'm not the type of person that makes a thread for every time i can't login, but i would appriciate it if i can make ANY use of my early acces, since thats the whole reason why i pre-ordered it again, i already had 1.0, i just wanted the early acces, and the extra's were nice. And ofcourse supporting you guys.

How ever, at the moment it feels like i threw money right out my window, the only difference is. i can't go outside and get it back.

I'll have faith in them but i can speak for alot of people that we are pretty disappointed. they can make a rough estimate by the amount of pre-orders and people who had early access.

To finish, i never expected a flawless product, Hell the only thing i expect is to be able to login and that the majority of the content is working, if 30+ stuff isn't working, No big deal! i'll do something else but as it is right now i can't do anything besides watching this damn cinametic over and over again if i AFK in the menu.


And for the people who claim its just a "bonus", Even a bonus should work. as this clearly isn't.

Not even Blizzard who has over a decade in mmo experience is able to launch a perfect expansion without server snafu.
Diablo 3 was unaccessable for like a week.

Lol, First i've been at more launches then you probably, At D3 unaccesable for a week? Pretty much lies. Was it hard to get in? Yes, but once you got it people didn't had to much problems.
And i wouldn't be complaining if i could actually get in. Once again, D3 had a crappy launch. but it sure as hell wasn't unplayable.

This isn't my first online game launch, but it is most undoubtedly my worst experience. I've been at the MMO well since EQ. I've been through a dozen or more launches. EQ1, EQ2, DAoC, Shadowbane, AoC, CoV, LoTRO, VG:SOH and others. This is without a doubt the worst I've experienced and it does not have to be that way if SE would get off their pile of money and upgrade their infrastructure.

D3 was not unaccessible for one week. Probably the first two days but like Blitzace said...once you got in, there were no more bugs. Now FFXIV.....

That just isn't true, Blizzards expansions have been very smooth.
Vanilla wow wasn't how ever that's long ago , servers made a big leap technology wise.

It's just stupid to put whole Europe on 6 servers , period.

I have seen a couple of releases with mmo's in the last 2-3y but sadly this is hands down the worse one I have ever experienced. and CTB3 went so smooth.

I know its a data center issue but still. they really should focus on expanding the current servers

Aion Head start went smooth, however release itself was messy 4+ hour queues (because people kept them self logged in was fixed in a couple of days tho )
Rift Head start went smooth , Release same as aion 4+ hour queues similar as aion people kept them self logged in. was promptly fixed as well.
Tera dont think I actually had any problems with either headstart or release.

But hey there where at least queues there so I could just put myself in line and go do something else for a while >_>

Indeed, And the bugs i can live with, No dungeons? no problem! i'll explore the landscape, the craft system, the fishing system and w/e the rest is. Level a different job. But the point remains, i haven't been online long enough to even unlock anything else.

I'm sure they'll fix it. I have no doubt about that, but the fact remains this is something that could have been avoided. or atleast maintained in a smaller scale

Heh, I went from Alpha test Matrix Online through to just before shut down of the game. When I say this is bad, you better £%^$ing believe it's bad.
