There is a pretty big lack of information regarding all aspects of the problems going on with the NA/EU servers and game. I'm not here to rant and call names, but I do want some straight up information on what is going on and when we can honestly expect to see a real resolution.

Right now there have been four maintenance periods and yet we're seeing many of the same problems over and over. As far as I can tell the only "fix" is when there are less people trying to log in and play the game. In the late/early hours when most people here are asleep, that's when the servers actually seem to mostly work. So from a customer stand point, it looks like SE hasn't invested enough in the hardware to support their user base.

So tell us what the deal is. If you put out there in all honesty that you don't have the hardware and won't have it until the 27th or 30th or whatever date you actually will have it, then at least that lets us know what we can expect. It may not be great news for some people, but honesty and communication shows a lot more effort on your part that you actually care about your customers, and that will help you retain them.

Square Enix has already failed their customers once with FF XIV and have come back begging people to give it another chance. The problems with the game play itself may have been corrected, but really if the infrastructure can't support the players then it doesn't matter. There seems to always be issues with MMOs first launching, but many of them have better communication regarding what is going on, and they aren't starting with a previous failure of the same game under their belt.

Just give us the truth of the situation so we can better plan out OUR time and energy. You will be doing us AND yourselves a favor.
