Nearly 15 years of MMORPG playing and still stuck with this "server full" stuff?

I don't get it. Why not implement a system where people can "land" on temporary servers to then auto transfer to their original server choice? I mean Funcom, a company with A LOT less resources deviced this for their MMO, why can't SE do this ?

But the blame is really on me, letting myself be hyped again into preordering and that early access thing which almost always end up being early-frustration.

Yes, their called overflow servers, GW2 has them, they work great.

Probably the same reason you couldn't jump in the original iteration of this game, and the fact that his game launched without dedicated US/EU servers the first time around. Our experience clearly means less to them than that of players in their native country and they've shown it through the way they run their business. Even now jp has as many servers as eu/us combined, and our populations massively outnumber theirs. Hell in ff11 there were no us/eu servers and we all got stuck on servers with jp players that had been playing for a year already and were already at level cap.

What do you expect from a company that is only just now allowing game cards to pay for game play. Most games have been doing it for almost a decade now. They are terrible at making things easy for their player base because they honestly don't care what you or I think. They got what they wanted and that was for us to buy the game. I said I was done with SE after FFXIV 1.0 but I came back to give them another shot. I have no one to blame but myself. The difference? I will be getting a refund tomorrow instead of just allowing them keep my money this time.
