Servers are a joke. One month free to all who bought the early access version!

Okay I understand that when an online game first launches everyone wants to play and its only natural that errors happen.

But this is unbelievable. Its a joke. This is not an early access. This is a beta test. They are testing our nerves.

They must give one month free to all who bought the early access more expensive version of the game.

huh? we do get a free month... plus these early days I think. I haven't even seen anything on my account about payment options yet. As for "more expensive"....not sure where you bought yours from, but they were all the same price, unless it was on sale. At one time amazon was giving a $5 credit voucher after launch, and newegg was running a $10 off for about a week. Now, if you are talking about the CE version, you paid more for it because of the extras that came with it.

Well to be honest I will complain if we get into free month territory and they still haven't fixed these issues since, you know, they have been issues since Beta.

huh? no these problems did not exist in beta actually. These server problems are caused by us. They never expected that so many people would be playing. There were ( apparently ) over 4 million people who joined open beta.That's incredible,so imagine how many are playing now? huge numbers.Just wait and asking for free game time is laughable considering we've not paid anything yet. Early access is a privilege,it is not official.

Yeah I'm also confused at what you mean by "more expensive" as the Standard Edition was £15 and the Collectors was £42, both came with the Pre-Order Bonus ... forget the price of the PS3 version, but it's again less than what games normally go for on that system.

As I understand it payment options won't begin until the 27th (Mid-Tuesday), even then the box comes with a month of subscription time; plus there is a grace period (believe it's until the 9th September) where you can still play without codes in-case they're late or such. Now if the login issues continue through release, then getting an extra day for each day of issues would be a reasonable request ... still this is early access, and is just a bonus not "free" game time.

Given it seems that almost all of the issues are being experiences almost exclusively for the NA / EU Servers, to me that actually suggests that the Game itself is not the issue; but rather the issue is with the Data Centre provider they have.

Expecting a free month for a few days of problems is way too much. Giving us a free day for every day that's plagued by severe issues would be fine, though.

Nothing personal, but attitudes like yours are one of the major reasons why FFXIV failed in its first incarnation.

The service is unacceptable, and Square-Enix needs to hear that. They don't need people white-knighting for them in the forums telling people that justifiable complaints (like, for example, servers that are constantly down, semi-functional, or full) are unreasonable. The same damned thing happened in the alpha/beta for XIV the first time around, and that nearly killed the game outright.
