    Level 20 chocobo/mount access question.

    When I reach level 20, if I have a legacy chocobo/coeurl mount can I ride it right away or do I HAVE to purchase the grand company chocobo to use any of the mounts?

    You have to finish your GC Chocobo Quest in order to use any mount in the game at all. Even your Collectors Edition Coeurl mount.

    For the chocobo make sure you use the chocobo whistle from your inventory once you have completed the quest.

    When you join a grand company (after the main quest "A hero in the making", you obtain it shortly after slaying Ifrit) speak with the commander of your faction for the quest.
