Good luck, I know it's frustrating... I did this entire process for v1.0 back in 2010 (reformatting, rolling back, reinstalling windows) and it is not fun and nothing I would wish on someone else.so far so good.. installed win 7 on a newly formated harddrive....drive is 128g samsung ssd...installing latest nvidia drivers 327 for notebook....figured i would describe exactly what i have done..so we can have answers no one seems to have...how far would you go for a game.. i just wiped 160 ther games off my computer for this one game.. just to validate a point..
trying get the system to bare minimum..so that nothing but the game and what is needed to run the game is in it,,,aand work from that...i hate excuses..i hate blame game..i hate this crap of cant replicate it...well i'm doing all the outside the game physical work.. getting back to the basics...do find a direction to run.. why i dont know..why i am paying to find issues,,if i'm doing the work i should be paid..when i'm done digging arround narrowing down the cause,,it will be dismissed by everyone else..as nothing...why,,, cause i believed in square enix..and i want to play.. so here i am doing everything i can to play..and feel like i'm being ridiculed and mocked for it by the very company and game i'm trying to protect...honor be damned..i just wanna play..
65% of win 7x64 istalled...everything is down loaded on usb drive ready for install...just doing game and nvidia drivers..no antivirus or firewall yet
that last 4% of intall takes forever lol...
I just tried everything you described. The worst it got was teleporting from Costa del Sol to Coerthas (took about 30 seconds to come out of the loading screen), Coerthas to Limsa was a breeze, and then taking the Aetheryte to anywhere else in the city, running back to it from the upper decks and doing it again, then running back and teleporting from a highly congested area back to Costa del Sol (which is over populated at this moment on Hyperion) and not one error.Port to Limsa from Coerthas then port again using the atheryte, error happens 100% of the time for me that way.. Run around Limsa for a bit and teleport from the main atheryte to anywhere else I'm sure you'll get this error again.. Any highly congested area will cause this, whether it be farming FATEs, being near a large mass of people while running, or just zoning into a city with lots of people..
I've given up on my main storyline because I can't stand to be in Coerthas.. All I do is mine, fish, and craft; even then I still get these errors.. Weekends are especially bad for me, just being in North Thanalan can give me an error standing still or while mining and 2 FATEs spawn near each other, which happens often.. Think the fact that rendering every single NPC, PC, pets, mobs, and mounts just kills it for me.. My game will even stutter for second every time a FATE spawns in that zone, don't even need to be close to it..
I would love to be able to replicate this, because then I'd at least have an idea of what's going on. =\
kick me again square..lol
