Ok virtual function call again, this time after 2 hours of relatively smooth gameplay

The game started that pausing crap as i tried to move through the zone, hit lvl 6, half of my lvl1 hunting log complete, heading over to cactuars/ladybugs and crash.

The pausing crap I'm referencing is where the game literally freezes for a sec or two and then comes back, if I stood perfectly still it seemed ok, but if i tried to battle or tried to run in zone it would pause sometimes as soon as i pressed a button.

Could it be server related? Because the pausing thing was like a bad omen, it started, i tried to push through it, and about 5 minutes later, the crash occurred.

Same, once or twice a day. I am also noticing the game continuously increases memory usage when monitoring it in Windows Task Manager. Perhaps separate issues, perhaps not.

Here are some things I've tried..

Fresh reinstall of the game TWICE
Repaired Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2008
Repaired Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010
Reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2008 both x64 and x86
Reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010 both x64 and x86
Tried numerous graphics drivers.. 13.8Beta2, 13.5Beta2, and 13.4
Updated my PC with all windows updates available

Nothing I've done has fixed this issue and it's getting more frustrating as it goes on..

After finally downloading the game, i was having constant pausing while trying to start out, driver was from January, updated to newest driver, and pausing stopped game became playable, did some of the starting fetch quests, and then this error hit me.

I was having sound issues, my footsteps were delayed, I noticed this just before the crash, had only played for less than 10 mins probably.

Almost every time I have had this crash, it has been preceded by periods of a sudden frame rate drop to near-zero, sound issues etc. I'll just be thinking "this is unplayable with the frame rate down to 1 every few seconds"... and then the game crashes.

I'm using an AMD 6870 by the way, I doubt this is a problem with video drivers.

Seems alot of people are getting the same error.. Asked in shouts at a few FATE camps where everyone seems to be and alot said they get the same thing.. Wish more people would visit the forums to post so it can be addressed..
