This is it:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error!!
Propgram: C:\ Program files (x86)\s...
R6025
-pure virtual function call
And this is WHAT it is;
Description of the R6025 run-time error in Visual C++
Collapse imageCAUSE
This error occurs when your application indirectly calls a pure virtual member function in a context where a call to the function is not valid. In most cases, the compiler detects this and reports the error when building the application. But depending on how your code is written, sometimes the problem is detected only at run-time.
The error occurs when you indirectly call a pure virtual function within the context of a call to the constructor or destructor of an abstract base class. This is illustrated in the sample code below, along with some more description.
SO, this is a programming problem, nothing to do with anyones computer or the internet/network etc..etc...
It is completely illogical that SE has ignored this problem for this long.

So, this cant be cleared up at the user end. Its only done by patching the offending program code.

fix it square enix...its a great game,,,but this is a game breaking issue..and you will loose a lot of players because of it..it has been going on since p4 open beta..and you havent said anything about it..
no response..no answers.. no anything...
i unistalled ffxix:arr..scanned computer for fragments ...restarted computer..scanned for garbage..cleaned system.. ran registry cleaner... checked system... reinstalled ffxix:arr....
i'm trying to be patient and understanding...but look at it from my perspective..i just bought a collectors edition game...found a big error in it...i have been telling the developers of it through the technical forums since before the game was released to public..it is now a month since the release day..and the silence that should be our tech support is not reassuring ...today is your last chance to do something...i run out of days soon..at this rate i wont renew subscription to a broken game
let us know that we havent been wasting our time and energy reporting to you ...acknowledge this error..tell us that you have been listening to us...give those of us that are here reporting free days to be some sort of apology for taking this long to fix it...then fix it...we have tested many many times... its not our machines...we have verified its not directx9,10 or 11..we have verified its not c++ (any of them)...its not our operating system....IT IS SOMETHING IN THE GAME
I find it hard to believe that it's a complete "programming" problem as not "everyone" is having this issue.
I've tried replicating the issue by uninstalling, reinstalling, updating windows, downloading the client online, using the DVD to install the game, installing the game on 7 different PCs (all with different configurations and hardware), installing different provided C++ runtime libraries provided by Microsoft, and I still cannot get this runtime error to show up. *sigh*
My only point with all of this is: Very few people seem to have this issue, SE doesn't seem to know what it is, and I can't replicate it at all for whatever reason.
*EDIT* I will just say that there are a couple bizarre things that happened in 1.0 that I eventually resolved in the most unbelievable ways...
First, I couldn't launch the game at all because it would give me an error (can't remember the code) and after days of messing with it, someone asked if I had an IR receiver on my PC and recommended that I uninstall it if I did... that worked and the game actually launched fine after that.
The next issue was my PC resetting every time I wanted to go to a certain area of the game. I did a system restore and the problem went away... and then it was back again the next morning.
It turns out, Windows was auto updating in the middle of the night with a bugged file that would cause the game to crash at that exact area for whatever reason. I rolled back again and turned off auto updates, I haven't had a problem since, and I will never allow Windows to update itself again (if it's working don't fix it Microsoft!).

reformating computer...first thing will be new win 7 install..on a new 128g ssd,,same as it was..the drive is only a month old..i reinstalled on it new when the game was released..not gonna run updates first...will install commodo icedragon(like firefox) and new invidea driver...then game ..i will runn it till it crashes.. and then give a report..and see what else needs installed..tired of this shit of being told its my computers fault for everything that goes wrong in the world...
what excuses will be made this time i wonder...
Port to Limsa from Coerthas then port again using the atheryte, error happens 100% of the time for me that way.. Run around Limsa for a bit and teleport from the main atheryte to anywhere else I'm sure you'll get this error again.. Any highly congested area will cause this, whether it be farming FATEs, being near a large mass of people while running, or just zoning into a city with lots of people..
I've given up on my main storyline because I can't stand to be in Coerthas.. All I do is mine, fish, and craft; even then I still get these errors.. Weekends are especially bad for me, just being in North Thanalan can give me an error standing still or while mining and 2 FATEs spawn near each other, which happens often.. Think the fact that rendering every single NPC, PC, pets, mobs, and mounts just kills it for me.. My game will even stutter for second every time a FATE spawns in that zone, don't even need to be close to it..
